It should be mentioned that Miyako Suzuta is only an alias that Naomi Wakabayashi uses for eroges. Kud still has her same voice actress, and its the same cast for the show (other than Riki which'll probably change since his few voice clips were the same seiyuu as Rin)

actually kud is being played by the same person wakabayashi apparently as many many pseudonym http://beautyplanets.web.fc2.com/VADB/actor/c_0232.html anyway its awesome that they managed to get the main cast back and i guess this is a good indicator its airing in the summer. and since they didn't announce rikis (the main characters) seiyuu im guessing that they plan to re cast him since he was voiced by the same person that did rin.

I think its too late for it to be Summer... and it'll likely be 2 cour, and they like doing those in Spring/Fall instead of Summer/Winter. I'm betting on a Fall airing. |

this is actually the usual time for summer shows to be announced and i was originally expecting it to be fall too but with the cast announced (minus the EX route girls and riki) im expecting summer but we will know on the tenth since there is also going to be a interview with one of the staff for the one (probably the director). as for it being two cour im expecting it to pull a clannad two cours on and a year later come back with another two cours for the ex girls,rin 2 and refrain. |

I think its just some union loophole... If someone wants to work on something outside of the union, they can do so... its something the unions kinda turn a blind eye to as long as its a different name. |

Yeah, but no one ever really cares about the MC, sadly. Even though Key apparently puts more work into their MCs than most VN/Eroge makers.

actually in the game he was voiced by the same person that voiced rin and sasami aka tomoe tamiyasu so i imagine their trying to find a new person to voice him. @chagen actually the story spoiler[kinda revolves around him much more then clannad,air and kanon and has a little more of a active role then most protags in VN's/eroges] |

I would imagine they're trying to find someone to voice him since he has such a large role and they haven't gotten anyone yet... which further cements this isn't airing anytime soon. |

well keys president did say sometime in the near future which means either in the fall or winter season though im hoping for summer for the sheer fact of i dont want to wait long for this.

You would think so, but in the end pretty much everyone is either going to be watching this show for the plot, the girls or the more attractive element of the male cast, so who is voicing Riki is kind of a secondary consideration, even if he is going to be getting the most screen time.
I see no good reason why he still cant share a seiyuu with Rin though. Im glad that the rest of the cast are reprising their roles, so many of these characters just wouldn't be the same without their voices. Good thing I learned that Kud's seiyuu's name was a pseudonym the other day, or else I would be very unhappy right now. |
