This reminds me of the Time when Platoon was first made available for purchase on VHS tapes for the suggested retail price of $99 when i was but a wee lad.

What I wouldn't mind know is if they are including English subtitles with the blu ray. Using Google Translate on the product's web page didn't seem to tell me one way or the other. Maybe Sentai will be able to snag it if the second season does well for them.

Not included. Japanese subtitles are included as they have been for all 16 TV series BDs. I'm not surprised ANN decided to translate the spoiler in the listing. Wish they had just said what it was, but meh. Edit: Thank you for adding the spoiler tag. It's a big part of the film and a nice surprise for those who haven't seen it. Yes, it's kind of funny when ANN informs us that the LE BD will cost 9,240￥ and then we find it on Amazon JP for 6,838￥. I mean, I know Amazon prices are not retail prices, but I hardly believe there's even one person who buys anime at retail price anymore.
Anyway, those who aren't hardcore fans can enjoy the SE BD for 5,672￥ (70$). Not as expensive as you thought right?
