Yeah, I dunno on that one. One of the things that makes Kore wa Zombie so good to me is that it has some of the best art of any harem show out there.

Well since the series is over I can say spoiler[that the plot did indeed go nowhere.]

But that's dismissable. I was in it for the fun and fun is what I got.

Episode 6 of the first season was the show's peak. There were funnier parts later, but that episode was the high point of its fusion of absurdist comedy and seriously disturbing imagery.

Considering that it aired basically simultaneously with Madoka Magica 6, I'd have a hard time saying which of those episodes was more viscerally disturbing.

I watched this for entertainment value on Thursday although I preferred season 1 a bit better. Definitely agreed with the story grade though.

Damn, I'm going to miss those cute Eu delusions.

This show made me realize that I can't stand shows with no plot. K-on, Lucky star. It all makes sense now. It's a big tease. Episodes 2-5 were a big waste of time for me. I'm a sucker for moe, harem and whatnot. I liked the characters, too. From the spunky, sometimes-annoying Haruna, to the bashful gakuen-zuma Yuki. But I was disappointed, though.
I'm very surprised that Carl would give it a B+ rating. Personally, I thought it deserved either a C or a C+

Just like Baka Test, I loved Season 1, but found Season 2 to be pretty meh-tastic. Vaisaga's approach to this series is sound. Dismiss the plot, stay for the lolz.

While I found the 1st season to be a guilty pleasure, the 2nd was just a waste of time. I'm surprised that it got a B- but I won't rant since someone has already stated it: no plot. Every episode is just an lameass harem fanservice comedy antic. And the art is just, if Higurashi didn't emphasize in boobs and lolis then KoreZom takes it to a new level. Still hoping for a 3rd one just for the fun of it, but the 2nd is one of the worst shows this season, a plot that goes nowhere mixed with some stupid harem craps that it's no longer funny or intriguing. I even find Nyaruko is funnier. So much for the title "of the Dead."

It's funny, consistently inventively funny and most comedies can't even accomplish that much. Asking to drop that and go back to pure horror is a bit much.

I guess the horror-comedy of the first season was more entertaining but it's not as if it was the horror that was inventive. Yeah, I've seen enough horror films to know how the plot was going to go in both storylines. The "non-plot" of season 2? That did not go acccording to expectations.

spoiler[Chris as the villain would not have worked as well as it did if the bad guy showed up before being unmasked like Kyoko from season 1. In short, "did not see that one coming" was in full effect and Chris came off as a combination of Chibi Moon and Ernest Blofeld.]

I enjoy the show enough to watch the episodes without dropping, but I still think it's a big waste of designs and breasts to have no nudity. I'll take the cheap fanservice and enjoy it.

If season one didn't have a plot I would've never watched season two, but it is a shame it takes so long for season 2 to even start getting back on track. It takes 7 or 8 episodes to start the next story arc and only a possibility of 4-5 episodes to execute the arc before the season is over.
