Isn't that really cheap for a doll that size?

That's roughly the price Azone charges for those type of figures, I think. Dollfie's are waaay more expensive...like $1K expensive.

I wonder how much it would cost to make and sell a 1/1 scale Makise Kurisu. Very Happy

Or, how about a talking Makise Kurisu? That'd be fun.

Not a fan of Kuristina; she was probably the most annoying girl in the anime. Mayuri or Part time girl, on the other hand... Twisted Evil Shocked Wink

well, given Paper Moon's prices for 1/1 scale dolls based on popular anime, and current exchange rates, it could be all yours for a mere $6,000!

Really love what they did with the hair and eyes. I'd never owned figures or dolls over $200. I was thinking about Kotobukiya's Kurisu first and maybe I might ended up getting this one or Madoka Real Action Hero figure.

On the other hand, maybe not after seeing the Paper Moon stuff. Yea...they definitely fall into the "ugh" part of the uncanny valley.

Thank you for making me come to my senses. lol.

Why does her name look like a nihonized form of "Chris"?

Because that's the kanji pronunciation of her name. And, her name as a joke/nickname in the series.

It's hard to get an idea of the scale of that figure without a background or another figure to compare to. Yeah, I know it's 1/3 and 50cm tall but trying to visualise that is a touch hard.

Man, a 1/3 figure would be the highlight of any collection, especially of everyone's favourite sexy genius Tsundere Otaku.

I'm not doing it to annoy people, I simply have a lot to catch up on, if you didn't already know. Two months is a long time, especially in the Talkback sub-forum. I haven't even had the chance to post in the Anime sub-forum yet.

So? Do you think it's considerate if I go back all the way to 2006 or 2004 or whatever and post on the threads about my favourite anime?

And not just once, but EVERY SINGLE THREAD that I think is interesting?

A thread that's nine days is old is entirely different to one that is eight years old. Your example is a false equivalence.
