I had the pleasure to see this film back in March at the International Children's Film Festival in New York. This film is absolutely amazing. It is by far the best Anime feature film I have seen in many, many years. Everything from the art, animation, storyline, character development and music make this film truly outstanding.

I cannot wait to purchase this from Sentai on Blu Ray. Even though the Japanese Blu Ray has English Subtitles on it, I just can't let myself spend $110 on a Blu Ray disc. So I will gladly wait a few more months to pick this up from Sentai.

i will buy anything makoto shinkai when released on region 1 dvd.
