I picked Akane Tendo, as she had the least amount of drama that surrounded her. Shampoo was okay, but was bound to marrying Ranma due to Amazon tradition. Ukyo Kuonji was to be married to Ranma in trade for Genma having Ukyo's family food cart.
Yes Ranma became afraid of cats due to training he was forced to do as a kid. I also think Akane was the only female character he was truly interested and everyone else was there because of promises that were made by custom rules or by their parents. |

And how exactly does Kei Agemaki's fear of spirits in Zakuro not make this list? Talk about fears that impact one's life! He is assigned to the Ministry of Spirit Affairs and is scared to death of spirits, including, to a certain extent, his partner, at least at first. Of course, it may be wise to be a bit frightened of Zakuro!

I thought there was some trauma that caused Chiaki to be afraid of flying, and I thought he gets better.

I'm actually really disappointed that Junta from DNA² isn't listed, even if that title is relatively unknown anymore. It's hard to get more phobic than being so allergic to girls (despite liking them) that you have to comedically vomit whenever you get too near one or too excited.

It makes me think of the episode where Nagi tries to discover the irrational fear that Hayate (The Combat Butler) must have, because all heroes have to have some sort of of irrational fear - it's practically a rule - but instead they discover Maria's fear of roaches-- and end up having to fight a giant demonic roach, of course.
As for Ranma's fiance. Ukyo all the way, she actually likes him for who he is and mainly treats him friendly. She's one of the nicest, most honest, and most normal characters (relatively speaking) in the series... so of course she doesn't have a chance, but she's my fave fiance'. |

Kaitou Kid/Kaitou Kuroba's fear of fish is pretty inconvenient considering his "profession". He can't go to the fish aisle in super markets, wouldn't survive going to places like the Aquarium or pet store, and sure as heck can't go swimming in the ocean. Imagine him trying to go deep sea diving if a gem he took happened to fall into the waters.
That being said, he is not even safe from dead fish.

I chose Shampoo because she actually was straight up about her goal to marry Ranma. She is such a hot chick too. Akane........I just got bored of tsundere characters, she is not that interesting in my opinion.

I choose Shampoo out of the three choices because Shampoo IMHO is the prettiest of those three. I like tusndere characters but Akane is easily my least favorite tusndere character. |

Same here. 
Jeez, it's one thing to be a sterotypical Chinese girl but her voice was so annoying. 
I liked Ukyo (since she was funny but also quite level headed most of the time) and Akane (even though she was a 'tomboy' tsundere, she seemed to genuinely care about Ranma whenever he was in trouble). Also, cats are awesome!  Slugs are cool too.
