I saw Todd Haberkorn, the voice of Natsu, at a convention back in February. He said that if the dub of Fairy Tail is popular enough that Funimation dubs up to episode 100, he will get a tattoo of the Fairy Tail emblem. Just a thought if you're on the fence about buying this set. Anime hyper

Proof?

I've never heard of him getting it. Plus, I heard when he gets it, it's going to be recorded and someone (FUNimation?) will put it on youtube. Laughing

I heard the news that Funimation got the Fairy tail movie and season 2. But the article says season 2 is episodes 49-73 when really it is episodes 49-96. So is it a typo or did Funimation only get season 2 part 1?

On a commentary of his and on his tweeter with him saying, "Sure, I would't mind Fairy Tail on Toonami. I do love the show enough to get a tattoo for it." And lot of other FT VAs did the same thing.

FUNimation is purposely labeling their Season 2 release as Episodes 49-72.

They aren't using the Japanese season system.

Once again I just don't get the low music score, since Fairy Tail has some of the best music in all of anime.

If it isn't in the encyclopedia or on the companies site then it hasn't been announced, anything else is just speculation as forum users aren't going to know more than the company released it. Just keep an eye on the news sources and wait for something to show.

I don't agree with your taste in a lot of areas, but here I have to concur.

Uh, Fairy Tail has no seasons to begin with. Any indication of 'season's in these shows is purely made up; usually for dub releases. They don't operate like American TV. Best you can hope for is a series re-branding like Naruto/Shippuden or Dragonball/Z.
