On a side note, didn't Riyoko Ikeda also receive kinghthood for her work 'The Rose of Versailles?' I remember hearing about it... |

(One is supposed to imagine the mmm-kisses with the Bugs Bunny cartoon where Bugs is in the French Foreign Legion, as I recall, and it ends with stereotypical French officer in that silly looking cylindrical hat of theirs kissing his cheeks, to that sound effect.
