Oh good. That means those of us with region free players will be able to import the UK edition for less than the R1 sets. Very Happy

About five years after Viz US gets their fingers out and decides to dub it.

Yeah, hopefully. At least I can only hope this'll be like Blue Exorcist where Viz will eventually correct Aniplex's utter incompetence. Well, that is if we ever get BE dub and sub blu-rays after it's aired a bit on NA, like we're getting for Tiger & Bunny. Smile

two things...

one: the only way I see Magi dub if it will go to Neon Alley

two: Viz doesn't do the dub I believe Bang Zoom will do it

Three: there have two dubs form Aniplex so far Drrr and Madoka

just wanting to point that out

Excellent news.
Hopefully Viz will get this dubbed and released at a realistic price over here.

Aniplex has also dubbed Blue Exorcist and according to the Aniplex Guy Aniplex has home media rights for BE not Viz.

Will a release in the states be not far behind? Well, I'm currently trying to watch the show. I have to admit it's colorful.

Aniplex has already licensed the rights for the US.

This partly explains why the Crunchyroll stream of Magi was restricted to North America and South Africa. That is, it explains why UK/Eire, the Nordic Countries and the Netherlands were locked out ...

... it doesn't explain why Oz/NZ were locked out, but maybe we'll hear from Madman or Siren in a little while.
