To be perfectly honest, I never expected FINAL to come out in 2013, even for one second.
Kahara have been awful with their predictions and as far as I see it, as long as the conclusion is satisfying then I'm okay with however long it does take. My prediction if they're getting their arses in gear will be first quater 2014 |

There was 2 years between Eva 1.0 and Eva 2.0, and 3½ years between Eva 2.0 and Eva 3.0. There's no way in HELL Eva Final will be out next year.

Honestly who even expected a 2013 release? If you followed the previous films, it took almost 4 years to make 3.0.....I would say give them a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of around 4. I expect it to come near the end of 2014 or summer 2015. There are many questions left to be answered after 3.0 and many characters that need to be addressed spoiler[Like Kaji...did he like die off screen lol?]
So I give you 4 years Anno to make 4.0 godly, answer all the questions and possibly give Shinji a good ending....Bwahahaha nvm, its eva, your on drugs if you think it'll have a happy ending. I would be pleased if there is a lot of content and Khara decides to break it onto 2 more films---an evangelion 5.0 sounds pretty smexy to me~~ |

So, for those of you who are not aware, the symbol used for the title of the final film is musical notation.
However, there are two ways to read the title. One is that there's a colon, followed by the the sign for "fine", which indicates the end of a piece. The other is that it's a single symbol, which means spoiler[repeat]. spoiler[Maybe the Peggy Sue camp is right, after all.] Or Gainax and Chara are just trolling us. Either way, really. Damn, I thought that seemed too good to be true
Well, it's probably going to be six months at least before I get to see 3.0 (assuming it gets a festival screening here) so maybe that will reduce the wait somewhat.
Oh, we're doing this already? No one is going to be able to bring the movie up in any context at all without people launching into complaints about it? Okay then, ejecting myself from the internet for the next year and a half. |
