I was hoping for an All-Star series since its the 10th Anniversary, but oh well. Still looks good.

I was thinking about a similar idea. Perhaps something like re-using the characters in a way it was done with Mai-Otome anime with the "Mai-Hime"-characters (I know a lot of people seem to hate Mai-Otome). On the other hand, I really want a crossover between Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure series.

On NHK World, I saw an interview with the producers and director of the PreCure franchise at Toei, and they stated they don't like bringing in the older characters as the premise is that the warriors can only be in a certain age group as the target demography which is 10 to 16 year old girls, so they felt they had to create fresh new characters for each new generations of that demography. It is presumed the older warriors have grown up and retired from service.

Aren't they all the same age and somehow coexisting in the same universe in the All-Star movies? (despite the conflicting mythos etc!!)

I think the tokusatsu shows that air before PreCure took up all the good anniversary series ideas (see Gokaiger, Kamen Rider Decade).

So they don't want "older hanger-ons" watching.
