The trailer shows quite a bit, you might want to avoid watching it.

He's like 50 years old by the end of Z.

What's sad is a LOT of Japanese trailers are like that. They always show some form of the ending because it tends to be the coolest part of the film.

They even do it for the foreign films. I remember seeing the Kung Fu Panda 2 trailer inbetween an anime's break and it showed off the full ending with the Po and the ball and the explosion and everything.

I dunno, Japan's trailer boards are weird.

Probably a dumb question, but why does it have a Fox logo? Does that mean this will have a US theater run?

Fox helped to fund the film; probably so that they can keep the film rights and remake a live action adaptation before they expire from inactivity.

Sounds like an old man? He's actually voiced by an old woman Smile And, based on the info we have so far, he's probably close to 40 at the time this movie takes place.

Maybe I'm just eager for even more information, but I don't think the trailer gives too much away. I mean, you could pretty much guess from having seen any previous Dragon Ball movie that most of the fighters will go against the villain, get their asses kicked, and then Gokuu will step in for the big climactic final battle. It hints at, but doesn't show, a new form (or power up?) of Super Saiyan. And it shows that the movie should have plenty of comedic scenes to keep us laughing (The Pilaf gang, Piccolo karaoke, and Gotenks getting spanked Laughing ). In my opinion, it shows enough to get viewers excited about the events of the movie without fully spoiling those events.

Waiting for the dub. Otherwise, it looks epic.

For a movie that got plenty of funding, I can't say that I'm really impressed with the animation seen thus far. Pretty disappointing.

The detail is terrible. Why is Gundam 00 better looking than a damned MOVIE?
