This was still a thing? I thought the series was kind of pushing its premise by the second season, and while it makes a great one shot, I'm surprised at its longevity.

I actually liked the anime. Sure a lot of the episodes are pretty much the same, kind of like Law and Order, but I looked through the episode list on wikipedia and only watched the episodes thatwere impirtant to the story line. Because of that, I really enjoyed all three seasons, but I could understand how some people could grow tiresome of it lol

I watch the first season on the Independent Film Channel. The second and thrid season on Hulu I love all three seasons of the anime. I didn't know it was turned into a mangs series usually it's the other way around.

The end of the first season was actually an okay payoff for sitting through the early slog. Overall, I thought it was a very accessible, very decent Japanese horror series.

The anime got worse and worse as it went on but I still enjoyed watching the third season a lot. Here's hoping they do another one.
