Too bad I watched the OVA already, which apparently takes place in the middle of the story. STill, sounds good to me. And whats with the Prinnies?

About damn time. The manga so recently is disappointing and so was the OVA imo. Looking forward to this otherwise.

The manga known as "A Town Where You Rage" by fans because of how it went off the rails in the later chapters? Well, at least the anime will never get that far.

The manga/anime for people who are masochists....(including myself). I've been enjoying the Slice of Life the manga has been doing for almost 2 years now and they cut away with the melodrama. There's only so many times Eba and Haruto can fight

I'm thankful Yoshiura is no longer attached to this project. As someone who really loves his work and absolutely detested Suzuka, the two OVAs were painful. Now hopefully he can put on the finishing touches for Patema and get it released.

Well, I guess Gonzo is finally back in the business of making anime adaptations. Never heard of the source material, but it seems relatively popular and looks like there's some decent staff producing the show.

Hope this is the return of good Gonzo anime.

No, no, it has nothing to do with Suzuka. A Town Where You Live is its own rage inducing romance.

A Town Where You Live is the one shounen romance where I hate the guy, a feeling I usually only get with shoujo. And now its getting an anime series. Ah, does that mean the manga's reaching a conclusion... again after reaching its conclusion?

I don't know, maybe Gonzo meant to get GE and got confused.

I don't know why the author of this story considered this manga a rom-com. It's nothing of the sort, it's a drama just as much as Suzuka. Just more long-winded. Suzuka gave up at 166 chapters, Kimi no Iru Machi is still going into the 220s.

Actually, it does, albeit in passing rather than any direct involvement. KnIM's characters are a few years younger than Suzuka's. spoiler[ Akitsuki's home town (where he attended elementary and middle school, IIRC) is the same as Haruto's.There's a crossover chapter between the two where the two series' characters cross paths after the end of the Suzuka manga. We see Akitsuki in the men's section of the local onsen with Takashi and Haruto, and later Suzuka mentions there were a few college girls in the women's bath with her.]

...and? I never said it did, I was pointing out that after Suzuka, anyone complaining about Kimi no Iru Machi being rage inducing only has themselves to blame.

I haven't really watched it yet because the manga is totally unfamiliar to me. But I still downloaded the OVA a while back just because I was curious about this
Quote:
The original promotional video was posted last Tuesday, but was then "removed as a violation of YouTube's policy on nudity or sexual content." The revised version obscures a brief bath scene, but the original version is still playing on Kodansha's own website.

Laughing
I'm assuming there isn't that much of it in the manga...
