Only thing this could lead to is new skins. I doubt people can competently make entirely new characters.

Why not? For what is a console but a crappy, locked-down PC in a custom box? Even the PS3, the "real console's last stand", had to cave and use junky PC hardware.
I'd rather it be on the PC as it'd: be forwards & "backwards" compatible, have superior load times, have free online play possibilities, be able to be more easily modded, have superior graphics (eg:superior antialiasing, actual 1080 resolution) and allow any control scheme that I would like. Control isn't an issue:Arcade sticks, 360 controllers, PS3 controllers, keyboards or anything that suits my fancy, really.
It'd probably be cheaper too. Praise be to Steam lol.
So why wouldn't it work on PC?

It would look better, play faster, support an absolute ton of control schemes, and support mods.
PC surpasses consoles in every way. This isn't bias--it's plain fact. The PS4 is already set to use PC hardware...that's four-years old and is already outclassed by any decent gaming PC.
Titan: Never underestimate fans and the crazy shit they can do with mods.
