This seems like such an odd thing to do. I doubt they'll adapt the Japanese series 1:1, and won't use either the branding, or the characters if Suraj: The Rising is anything to go by. So why even make it a remake?

It does seem odd, but then again I don't see this being any different from Hollywood remaking Asian films, or when Asia remake Hollywood films. If India want to remake Ashita no Joe, then I'm not going to make a big deal out of it.

If they remake it, they have a lot more control and probably can make more money off of it. |
