Attak on titans now is 100% 2nd in the 1st half of 2013 manga sales ,and the next weeks we will discover if it is has the ability 2 competes with the king of sales (One Piece)

bro , the 1st half chart wont be released until 28 may, but with simple calculation of the numbers of the new volumes 4 Naruto & HxH and there is not any other manga beside AOT having a big sales boost . So AOT 100 % gonna surpass 3.5 millions which is enough to be in the 2nd place

Still not a 100%.

To get 2nd or 3rd place, it would have to get like at least 3 million copies sold within Nov. 21, 2012 to May 20, 2013.

Atm, I think SnK got about 1.7 mil sold. It would have to sell about 1.3 million copies in the next 3-4 weeks to get 2nd or 3rd place.

400k copies per week means each of its 10 volumes would have to average 40k copies per week for 3 weeks.

I'll agree that it's got a chance, but I wouldn't say 100%.

You do realize that One Piece normally outsells everything else several times over whenever a new volume is released, right? (In Japan, anyways.) And I'm fairly sure it's been first place in yearly sales for as long as ANN has been posting them up.

(And this is not coming from a fan's point of view - I haven't read or watched One Piece. I keep meaning to, but never get around to it.)

Heh,

Yeah One Piece sales so much....

But then

Hunter X Hunter barely even release books and yet he tops......He's the real deal...Just think about it if Togashi wasn't Hiatusing so much, and can release so much books.......damn......

and seriously One Piece is so so so Over Rated. (Yeah it's good and all but....there is a but.......)

The OP manga isn't overrated at all, at least the volumes I read so far (up to 66). ^^'

Hunter x Hunter, of which I only see the anime (the new series now, I watched the old one too) is great too and it deserves its success as well, but it's the second long series for Togashi so I can understand his slowness.
I must buy the manga one day.
