SE had three years. Let's hope this is an improvement over the original XIV.
As for X HD, is it getting redubbed? Because I swear the dialogue sounds different. It's been a while since I last played.

Nope, unfortunately. Tidus still sounds the same. James Arnold Taylor's acting is different now - if you listen to him in Dissidia.

FFXIV at launch was terrible. FFXIV when they closed the servers for data saving and later to be redone with new code, was not only pretty good, was actually really fun. The engine they had was capped out by that time, there was really nothing more they could do with it. The beta was promising and the game is coming out in August. It looks like it's going to be fantastic. As long as they keep the world-building and story writing as strong as the first time around, they'll do fantastic.

Square, this E3 you have won back a lot of my trust in the Final Fantasy series. The awesome sounding combat in Lightning Returns, the HD rerelease of one of my favorite FF games, Versus now becoming XV and actually on its way to releasing and finally, the one that really excites me, FFXIV. I'm really glad to see it shaping up so nicely. Day 1 for FFXIV from me. Definitely day 1.
