Man, I love DuckTales as much as the next 90s kid, but did this really need to exist?!?!?!?

Were we really out of other games that deserved a remake more than DuckTales? Is nostalgia really that profitable?

Transylvania looked great. And yes Correl, nostalgia can be quite profitable.

I had a similar sentiments reading the article, but I think this is a fishing/marketing test to see if the Duck Tales franchise can be revived. In my personal experience, not that many kids (from 6 to 18) even know about Duck Tales and its spinoff Darkwing Duck. With the success of the Smurfs and Chipmunks, DT could be a profitable franchise. I had that game when it came out and it was fun, but I don't know if it could compete with the more advance games out there now.

Here's hoping that this starts a nice flow of classic games.

Don't be like that. Some of us are really looking forward to this game.

Even if kids don't know about Ducktales, if the game is fun to play, what does it really matter?

Of course it does. What kind of questions are those?

It's definitely one of those classic games that no one was expecting to be remade. It's definitely a pleasant surprise and I'm sure it'll do quite well once it's released.

One of the first games I ever got the chance to play. So many memories! Can't wait to play this! Now only if Tailspin and Darkwing Duck get the makeover.

Never played those ones, but loved the DuckTales game. Was replaying at Sakuracon a couple of months ago for the first time since the 90s. Forgot a few tricks I knew back then, like the bonus to get more diamonds. And problem with a remade Tailspin would be a new Baloo and Kit as Ed Gilbert passed away in 1999, and RJ Williams has grown up.

You must not follow video game releases if you think this is forever.
