Not a fan of the anime, but Michiko Neya, so banzai! Anyway, otsukare-sama! It was a long run for the manga, and this is a good way to reward that.
Let's just hope no kids get the dream to be street drag racers... |

now with MOVE now broken up who will provide our epic weird mash up that some how is like a reeses peanut butter cup, MOVE had that weird Pop, Rap Eurobeat, mixture that cannot be replicated and just makes a awesome energy the closest i can really think would be Fripside but with them not having rap i think it will kill that weird energy initial d would have.

Whew, that's a relief. I was somewhat confident that they'd adapt the manga's final race eventually, but so many naysayers were saying Fifth Stage's supposedly disappointing DVD sales could spell doom for the franchise (as if averaging 9k units per volume could be considered a failure when plenty of shows with better production values get sequels while averaging just 5k) that I was starting to have my doubts.
I'm just curious as to what the new film will be about. And given how rushed the manga's ending has been (spoiler[they did a time skip right after the final race ended, and didn't even show everyone's reaction to Takumi's win]), I also hope the upcoming Final Stage OVA adds a lot of new content to it, giving each character a nice send-off. I wonder how many episodes it will run for. |

i must say good picks on the both of them they really do got that initial d energy i personally would go with ALTIMA but thank you you have given me hope on either one of those as a possibility. |

So I noticed the anime mentioned in this article has begun, but there's still no encyclopedia entry for it on ANN. Is there some reason for that?
