Damn, and the success just continues on and on. I might buy one of those copies as well.

Indeed. The manga is quite awesome.

The anime hype wont last long thou, since it wont be long running, but hopefully the stellar disc sales guarantee it going past 2 cour (it seems) not ruining it with an original ending/route so soon and instead adapting a little more, I am hoping for 38+ eps at least, maybe 50, with 50 it can get the fillmetal alchemist treatment and can pull off successfully an original route (if the studio has someone talented enough to pull it off), or adapt as much as possible of the manga, I prefer this last option despite it will most likely wont be pretty and the whining from non manga reader can be huge if it does happen.

It's definitely going to end at 25 episodes, but there's like a 98% chance of there being a season 2 (and probably a season 3, 4, etc. until the manga ends.).

Yea, did not clarify enough, past 2 cours in a second season.

We are at chapter 18 out of 47 available so far! so between 38 and 50 could be doable with what is currently available, but after that its the seasons 3,4,5 etc until manga ends ...mmm, not sure, depends.

This aint like classic shounen battle manga a la naruto, one piece, bleach or able pull off something like major or bakuman.

With 12 chapters per year, one cour per year (12 eps) could be doable tightly, but I find it unlikely to happen, but who knows, it pulled off amazing sales for sure and the manga is getting tremendous boost.

BUT cutting the anime at some point with a cliffhanger, wait for more source material for a 2 or 3 years and do another 2 cour sequel, this is indeed an option.

He even explained it in his post. It is the number of episodes an Anime season usually has.

1 cour is 11-13 Episodes and 2 cour is 24-26 Epsiodes.

Cour = ~12/13 episodes, ie basically the number of episodes airing within a Season(Winter, Summer,..)

2-cour = ~24-26 episodes(two-Season airtime)

Split cour = 2-cour with not consecutive airings(ie for example first cour Spring, second Winter, with Summer as break between)
