Been waiting for this movie since March of last year when the first of the four preview shorts came out, and it was supposed to premiere later that year. What caused the year long delay?

Interesting concept, as always. I love it!
Since I fell in love at first sight the first time I watch Time of Eve, I'm likely going to expect a lot from this one. I can't wait. <3 |

I've also been looking forward to this for a while, because of the clips previously released as well as being a fan of the animation studio's other works.

Nov. 9 release in Japan, followed by domestic home video release 6 months to a year or so later, and then more time after that before a US release...? Ugggh. Well, hopefully it'll be streamed somewhere before then. Looks good!

Yeah it's a weird concept, but you have to assume the film will have an explanation for Patema's reversed gravity, and how it fits into the narrative's larger context. I'm just hoping the film features more of the claustrophobic underground city shots, those are sorely lacking in anime. |

I said looked, not is; based simply on a trailer. Hence I am reserving judgement because just maybe he will pull it off. However it is not an original concept, it is simply rarely done because of the implausibility of the entire situation. I do hope he does it well. Because all his past works have been excellent. I am however doubtful, and do wish he had kept the show more grounded.

Nice to see a more flushed out trailer of the film...makes me want to see it even more now, and I've been waiting nearly 3 years to hear of its release.... no more delays!!!If its playing anywhere near where I'm at I'll go see it. And a Kickstart of the Blu-Ray release like Time of Eve would be nice!

Hopefully the popularity of the Kickstarter for T.O.E they will release this onto blu-ray if the release is successful. I am really looking forward to seeing this! |
