This gives me more time to get that Medaka Box on Blu-Ray then. Although I do wish there were more extras. Not as bad as SAO though (still got that too).

The delay for Medaka Box appears to be to fix an audio defect in one of the episodes of the English dub. It was caught when the dubbed episodes began streaming on Anime Network. Some of the DVD sets already shipped out from Right Stuf, but they will be shipping new discs once they arrive. It will likely only be a couple weeks late though.

The dubbed episodes of Nyan Koi are also delayed on Anime Network, so I'm wondering if there was a production delay. Perhaps they couldn't have the dub ready in time.

It's weird then that they were selling the Medaka Box set at their booth at Otakon. I can only assume that they discovered the defect between then and now.

Saves me some money to buy Rune Factory 4! And GTA V, maybe.

It was found on the stream as Otakon was starting and corrected. I think initially they thought it was just a problem with the digital file and didn't realize that it affected the DVD as well. It's a relatively minor defect in which there is about 4-6 seconds where there is no dialogue in one episode, and it only affects the English dub track. The Japanese track is fine.
