720 in 2013? That's just wrong. Surely with such low graphical requirements even the wimpy PS3 can pump out non-upscaled 1920*1080 video.

I continue to hope that, if this should ever make it to the US, that it will have an English dub for all of the cutscenes/skits (something the GameCube version, thanks to Nintendo's asinine mini-dvd, didn't have). Probably a forlorn hope but that just means that I'll be pleasantly surprised if the NA publisher should pull that off.

They announced that it's coming to the U.S. the same day that they announced its existence in Japan. I believe they said they are not re-dubbing it but I don't know if they've specifically commented on the content that was not dubbed the first time. But if they aren't redubbing, that does make it unlikely that they are dubbing anything new.

But didn't the Japanes GameCube release have voiced skits. Isn't it just a localization issue just like with Abyss.

But the US release will be dual audio and I doubt it's going tone redubed.

Not all of the skits/interactions in the GameCube version were voiced. I believe that they were on the PS2 version of the game.

Even though the graphics aren't anywhere close to what they should be (All of these Japanese "HD remakes" have been sub-par) I would consider getting this if it were fully voiced.

How could this game get released over seas and not have it redubbed? They're using the PS2 version. It would feel there'd be a lot We'd miss out on.

Simple. That stuff won't have voice just like most Tales games in the west didn't have voice for skits.

But it's dual audio so there's that.

Woah, the skits were voiced in the PS2 version of Symphonia? That adds to my hype even more since I was always going to be playing this with Japanese voices to begin with. I thought that wasn't a thing until Vesperia.

They've had voiced skits since Destiny on the Ps1.

If say so, but I'm not sure why the Japanese Gamecube version would have some skit voiced and then have some not.

All skits were voiced in the Japanese PS2 and GameCube versions. The English just didn't voice it on the only version that was released in the states, the GameCube version.
