Wow, I didn't realize that Furuya was going to be in it. I didn't know he did bl...... Huh. Amuro... [ EDIT: Just looked at my copy of the manga and realized that he's credited under his alias instead of his real name, which is why it didn't click for me. ]

And as usual, he loves those hugs and kisses. Anime hyper He said the same thing at FanimeCon iirc.

So where are people getting this date from? I didn't listen to the whole clip--but I did listen to the part concerning the movie and didn't hear him mention the date.

It also seems all but impossible that he would reveal a date that hasn't even been BREATHED about in the Japanese magazines promoting the series, not even on the official Marukawa twitter or anything.

Is he ~going rogue~?

I'm glad that this is being made but personally I feel there are better BL series that could be made into a film. But again I'm glad this has a film adaptation and I'm looking forward to it. Smile

lol @ Furuya san's response when he pointed out the guy in the audience that liked BL. Anyway, since he'll be Kirishima, I find it amusing that he'll "top" Horiuchi Kenyuu.

Your opinion isn't supported by sales numbers, though, where Nakamura is competing handsomely with popular shounen series like One Piece with her releases of late. Not even the recent release of Love Stage!!, which was also just green-lit for an anime version, came remotely CLOSE to sales of Nakamura's most recent installment of SekaKoi.

There's no love lost between me and Nakamura, for sure, but she is a more-than-safe bet as far as bringing in money for Kadokawa and Studio Deen.

You are correct. Furuya did not mention the film's opening date at the Anime Revolution panel. The official website for the series has noted that the film will open in 2014, but has not specified a month. We have corrected the article to reflect this information, and apologize for the confusion.
