This throws a wrench into my whole plan. Was gonna pick Fennekin, but I can't not pick Charmander as well.

You get a new starter as well.

You get the first Gen starter from the Professor this time.

Not gonna lie, Mega Charizard and Mega Blastoise look dumb, while Mega Venusaur's changes are so minuscule I could hardly tell what was altered.

Still got love for faaaaabulous Mega Ampharos, though.

So now you'll be starting your adventure with two starter Pokemon, with the other starter being a Pokemon from Kanto?
This makes X and Y all the more interesting. Smile

I know I get both starters, but using 2 fire pokemon in my lineup? I gotta be more varied than that.

Oh my GOD!
Soooooooooooooooo excited right now ohmyfreakinggod!
Granted, I totally now have to re-think what I'm gonna get 'cause NOW- well, I was gonna get Fennekin but now I want Charmander too but I can't have two Fire type and maybe I want Bulbasaur or hell even Squirtle but Froakie is kinda cool too and oh my god I cannot make up my mind... This is an absolute blessing because I love the original starters! But it's also a curse now too because- Guh! Don't know what I'm gonna do now!

Still, this just made my day. Easily.


Edit:
Let me also add that... while I can't say I liked these 'mega forms' too much. Or hell, the very idea (I loathed it). These 3 actually look awesome!
Granted, I needed a double take for Venusaur because at first I didn't see any changes... still, I think these are the best 'mega' anythings we've seen so far.
