I wonder if the movie won't be a prequel to Psycho-Pass, similar to how Kizumonogatari is to the Monogatari series, in which case it would be about the case that caused Kagami's psycho-pass to become cloudy.

Gyaaaa, I have such mixed feelings about this. I absolutely loved the first season of Psycho-pass...I was even satisfied with the open ending. Dragging a good thing out like this might not be a good idea. But then again...it's Psycho-pass...which means it has the potential for more awesomeness. I guess it's kind of how I feel about the 3rd Madoka movie...looking forward to it, but cautiously.

The second season will probably be something about the past of some of the psychopass characters, most likely Kougami and his subordinate's, or even what Kougami is doing after that whole event in the first season. They could also shift the focus on characters that were never shown in the first season. The one thing I hope they don't do is the continuation of Akane Tsunemori's chronicle.

So I guess PsychoPass has helped rebuild NoitaminA's reputation. I really look forward to watching the series when it is released on BD by Funimation.
I hope the continuation keeps up the quality. |
