In retrospect, I'm pretty sure it's romantic and if it's not romantic they at least set it up for the reader (or viewer in this case) to think they could be based on what I remember from the manga (it's possible I could be wrong about this as I can't actually access the manga thanks to JManga going under); there's also cannibalism. There's over a dozen other shows I'd rather be watching this fall. I have a feeling this will be one of fall's panned show by the ANN critics (to which I'd have to agree) though who knows it could be well done and win over audiences. |
