Doggie Poo isn't Japanese. It's Korean. Razz

And the news isn't exactly new since John O'Donnell of CPM announced the acquisition at BAAF a couple of months ago during the Korean Animation trailer review thingy.

The AT article says the book is Korean, but the claymation was produced in Japan.

The ironic thing is that this article not only adequately reports this newest acquisition, but also could be used verbatim for many of their other recent ones!

*ba-dum-ching!*

What a misleading title. For a minute I read the title, I thought CPM was releasing another M.D. Geist sequel.

If titles like M.D. Geist helped them get the dvd rights to Utena, Blackjack, and a Rin Taro commentary for Harmageddon, then that's all that matters. Anyway, Pioneer and Viz release many more crappy titles than CPM, but most people will pick pretty colors over content.

Cat Shit One should get an anime, and then CPM should acquire the rights to it and sell it in a box together with Doggie Poo.

Not really. I've seen more crappy titles from CPM than anyone else:

Art of Farting
Battle Arena Toshinden
Crystal Triangle*
Cybernetics Guardian
Darkside Blues
Dog Soldier: Shadows of the Past*
Explorer Woman Ray*
The Humanoid*
Knights of Ramune
M.D. Geist 1-2
Takegami
Virgin Fleet
Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer
Wanna-Be's*
Wild Cardz

*No longer available, but still lurking at your local video rental store.

Caca owns all.

Also, even though CPM has a few outright stinkers in it's catalog, it can't compare to ADV's MASSIVE collection of boring or mediocre pablum. Stuff that's not outright terrible, but completely worthless nonetheless.
