To be a vocaloid, all you need is a company like Yamaha, or Crypton Future Media to take a sample of your voice and wa-la you are now a new vocaloid. But this article implies Sony don't seem to understand that. I'm presuming that they actually mean that they want to hear an artist what has used a vocaloid programme to create a song. Makes no sense otherwise.

Heheh, they have a weird way to go about it with "auditions are open to artists in their teens up to age 25."
