Even if the amnesia aspect of the plot isn't exactly giving me high hopes, there's something in this ad that makes the show seem very endearing. Maybe it's the character designs and the music. Plus, this show being from the author of Toradora! is enough to make me check this out.

Well, I give this series points for its rare college setting. I'll give it a test drive. Damn, I've got 29 titles to check out. I don't expect all of them to stick, but that's still a shitload to peek in on.

Not sure if this is something I would enjoy just judging from the trailer, but Im interested in seeing how a college setting plays out. Hopefully it's not just a high school anime in disguise.

The author of this series also made Toradora? Well, let's hope the main female lead isn't as unlikable as Taiga was. I've only seen one episode of Toradora and Taiga is alreeady on my "Most Hated Female Characters of all Time" list.

I'll give the first episode a whirl due to the fact it's set in college alone. Having the director of Nodame Cantabile on board ain't bad either.

I'm a bit upset that they're using this in the promotional material because it's supposed to be a bit of a surprise, but let me just tell you that it's more or less the foundational aspect of his character and that it's actually executed very well. Amnesia is a cliche, sure, but sometimes it's more than that.

I've read the manga and it is SO good!
The Amnesia bit is so unimportant, so much so that I only just remembered about it, it barely features. The main girl, Kaga starts out kinda strange, but in time she grows and you feel really sorry for her. I love all of Kaga's crazy clothes and I really hope they keep the Nana (as in Nana and Hachi Ai Yazawa Nana) cameo appearance in! |
