I should probably get the Little Mermaid BD, it pleases me that they didn't vigorously scrub the grain away and make a putrid mess like they've done on so many of their older films. Also helps that Ariel was probably my first cartoon crush.

I want to start collecting the new Yamato one of these days but finding the first pressings might be too much of a bitch chore. Best to hop on that kind of release from the start :< it'd be like trying to grab the Katoki Gundam UC slipcases after they sell out.

Only 39k for monogatari, it sure is doing badly compared to the other entries in the -monogatari series.

A shame teekyuu didn't rank in the top 20(so I'll have to wait for the top 100 to be released), oh well. I'm sure it still did good. It was predicted to sell around 2.8k BD's afterall.

I think the same. I was expecting the first volume to at least sell 50k. Perhaps it did not do that well because there were other good sellers, like Yamato 2199, Railgun and Oreimo, released in the same week.

Hmm... I bought a few of those, which Amazon got to me last Friday.

I bought Nekomonogatari (white), despite not having finished watching Nisemonogatari, or started Nekomonogatari (black) or the current-monogatari series. ^^; Fate/kaleid ... Illya was in the box, too, along with several other didn't-rank-this-week Blu-rays (Eccentric Family #2 being one of the few US-friendly titles).

My favorite for the month is Yamato 2199 #7, concluding a wonderful series. I really hope that they adapt or create further Yamato stories.

I almost started buying the Railgun S BDs, since I enjoyed and imported the first Railgun series, but I got tired of seeing Touma and Accelerator, and stopped watching. Gargantia was another almost-purchase, but there were too many poor episodes in the middle of that series; maybe I'll buy a US release, maybe I won't. While I imported the OreImo series 1 BD set that was also released over here, I never made it more than a couple episodes into the second series, so it was never really a candidate for importation...

Since you've missed some of the first pressings, just go all out and wander the auctions sites looking for the editions that were sold at the movie theaters. ^^
