Hardly a one-for-one match, but people will see what they want to see. It's not like K-On fandom doesn't have plenty of Yuri shipping anyway.

Well . . . The illustration looks to be something maybe more appropriate to a doujinshi rather than a regular commercial magazine like Yuri Hime.

Would need to know if the cover ties into a story in the magazine, could be one of those things where the designs were done "tongue in cheek".

Shouldn't it be Yui and Mio, anyway? They look about the same height, if the black-haired one isn't a skosh taller.

Not like "long hime-cut black hair", or "short brown hair", both with bangs in their eyes, are uncommon looks. Could just as easily be female characters from Occult Academy or Hanasaku Iroha, to pick two NISA boxes I can see from where I'm sitting.

I wish the term "Shipping" would just die off. But yeah, they look pretty different...unless there's more pictures somewhere

yes, because K-ON characters are so unique and one of a kind. There's absolutely no girls with short brown hair or black long hair in all history of manga/anime/games. what a shameful copy!

Yes, when it comes to looks, those two do almost resemble Yui and Mio...
Then again, one anime character looking similar to another is a pretty common occurrence...
