Should've ended a while ago. There's something about Jump Square which makes series I might've liked in Jump suddenly boring.

I was just about to ask how likely it would be for there to be a third series, but so far it looks like it's pretty safe to assume there won't be right? As a fan that's only read the first few volumes of the first series, that's kind of good for me - it means I can finally start getting caught up again.

This manga series has been up and down with its story telling, but For the most part, I've enjoyed it.
In the second season, that when the series really found its footing so to speak. When the rosario charm started to break and finding out about Moka's sad childhood, that when the series started to take off and it never really stop from there! I think Ikeda is running out of material for a S3, unless it's a brand new storyline entirely. Because S2 was just characters we knew existed just never understood or knew, and a bunch of returning characters from S1. This should have ended a while ago, I'm pretty sure volumes 5 and 6 could have been shortened or taken out entirely Although I still like the story, the further the story developed the less fanservice and the more action we got |

That final column about how many emails the column has gotten about asking ANN for a third season is hilarious. But sad. |

So this series will finally be ending in February? I've been with this series since its rough start and it has definitely come a long way from standard harem comedy to surprisingly dark action series and this series is the finest example of Cerberus Syndrome that I have ever witnessed. Talk about a major shift in tone!
Is it perfect? No but despite it's up and downs, I have enjoyed the journey here and I hope that the ending leaves open the possibility of a third season coming and I just hope that it won't end like Negima. Lastly, I hope that there will be a Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood style reboot for this series to come out someday because this series deserves a much more faithful adaptation because the Gonzo adaptation really doesn't do this series any justice at all and is just plain a poor representation of it because it truly deserves better than this.
