They missed my favorite from the show; Ashina Sei as Kaede the Kunoichi.

I just watched this last week, and it was pretty decent. I wouldn't mind seeing more of it.

I doubt that Crunchyroll nor Dramafever can pick this up, I would love to watch it legally, but I want to support J-drama the legal way.

You are probably correct-- not only because of star Tamamori Yuta but also Inagaki Goro (SMAP) in a small role as Mitsuhide.

The drama just kind of ended (presumably because the manga was ongoing) so this is a really pleasant surprise. Most of all because we'll get to see Mitsuhiro Oikawa again as a very flashy Oda Nobunaga (leopard prints, ruffles, all the cape flourishes, etc...). He might've been the best part of the drama, to be honest, or at least a close second runner-up to Ken's French-cuisine-via-the-Warring-States dishes.

Is there something behind this new obsession with Oda Nobunaga? I mean I know it's always been a thing, but lately it's bigger than usual.

And the reason why this J-drama will never get a stream outside of Japan, I hate when Johnny's entertainment make J-dramas licensing hard and ridiculous.

Yeah, I'll never understand why Japan's entertainment industry has an obessesion over portraying Nobunaga in a weird way.
