Oddly enough, with the exception of Perfect Blue (and maybe Street Fighter) all those titles have been, or currently are airing on Action. I wonder if instead they are merely renewing the rights, since it has been a long time since I have seen Macross 2, Plus or GITS on there. Still very cool, It's been way too long...

Well I haven't seen any of those in about a year on the Action channel. Aside from Perfect Blue, as GoldenBeck said, those titles have already been shown. I saw Macross Plus (the 4 OAV) a loong time ago, both dubbed and one time by chance caught it showing subbed (that was really cool). Smile They should just throw in Gunsmith Cats, Appleseed, 3x3 Eyes, and Blue Seed in there too even if they're not licensed by Manga. Anime smile Either way it'll be good to see all of these again since these were the first I'd seen in my early fandom days.

Is there logic behind showing a movie that requires you to see 24 epiosdes of a TV series they don't have?

No. I don't think there is. Smile

oh yes! and I was equally excited when Sci Fi showed *some* anime (one of the series was Earthian, I think) on Friday / Saturday nights, I believe this was around 1999 or 2000........too bad they took all of those out altogether...
Sad ....hmmmm, maybe I'll write to them.......
