This is not a confirmation.

While I'm pretty sure Jet's right and we're going to get trailers of other characters and I agree that Tamako's the main character and we aught to be following her throughout the film, I am looking forward to seeing Mochizo actually being more on the offensive more than anything in this flick. But at the same time I'm a bit apprehensive because this movie could pull a crap shot and not really resolve anything, which would only get on my nerves.
We'll see what happens.... |

Yeah, looking more like Mochizou route than anything. And thank god. I liked Midori but she was kind of a ******. Moichizou was perfect for Tamako IMO

I hope i'll be able to watch this movie without having to watch the series, because the two first episodes I watched were pretty painful...

She likes mochi, he likes mochi, they kind of like each other. That's about it. There's some more stuff, about a bird, where it came from and how it can fly if it's so fat. Spoiler alert: spoiler[diet]. Yeah, it was that kind of series. It was cute but it seriously lacked character motivation. On the other hand, just having her come out {ok, I'm sticking with it...} without any sort of preface in the series makes it seem Tamako is going to force herself not to explore her feelings but to make them. "Hey, you're next to me..." And we've seen in the series how everyone loves Tamako {I admit it, she's likable} so individual POV ads makes as much sense as running the entire series again. The only thing that matters is to frame her mindset prior to the movie. Because it never happened in the series. |

Tomako Market was a series I really enjoyed, it was a very lighthearted show and I look forward to the film but is there still going to be a second season in addition to this movie?

The OST fits the theme well I guess. I have mixed feelings on this so far so hopefully will be good. I wonder what kind of role that bird will play in this movie too.

I'm going to have to agree with you. I really like Mochizou. Midori in the series came off as a total d**k, so I hope they get to expand on his character development as well as the other characters. There was only so little to begin with in the series. :l |
