I wish they made it so you could swap out Mario's head to give him different expressions. Plain old "Smilin' Mario" starts looking kinda creepy after a while.

My theory is that they'll make other figures with different expressions that can be swapped between figures simply by removing his hat. Mario only has so many expressions, it would be a waste to give them all away in one figure. I'm sure we'll also see things like a koopa, used "?" block, and exploding brick. Hopefully they'll also make Bowser (with gray bricks) and Luigi, too.

It's kind of sad. They killed off the name of the D-Arts line because of poor sales (reportedly due to lots of consumer complaints), but they're still using the same D-Arts construction for this and several other figures that are now being labeled under the SHF name. I wonder if this counts as false advertising on some level...

Already got mine on preorder and you can too. Hope Bandai tackles more of Nintendo's franchises I really like their Pokémon figurines and would like to see more from other franchises.
