I've been reading the manga for this and this should be interesting. I Just hope it will adapt it faithfully for the chapters that are available so far.

Neat more mecha anime!
(Remeber, all mech anime are about teenager angst and there inability to get laid and/or parent issue) Oh right I better start getting disappointed right now so I'll be ready when this come out. Joke aside this looked pretty good, I rarely found CG mech to look that great, and the design kinda remind me of ZOE. |

I'm not quite sure what to make of this. It looks like it may be different from most mecha anime. I guess I should put in some more research on what it's about.

You know visually that looked ok to me. I was worried that it might look bad, but that was ok. Will of course have to see how a couple of episodes look to have a more rounded reaction to the look.
I'm looking forward to it even though I wasn't too crazy about the manga. I vaguely recall the manga not always flowing well and there being some holes, so I hope the anime patches that up. |

Framerate looks really clunky, like usual. Luckily, that can be fixed with motion interpolation and watching at a faster playback like 1.5x speed. I have no idea why Justin, Daryl, Zac, etc. always turn into raving lunatics over motion interpolation ever being on. Maybe it visually "messes" with movies, but it's preferable for anything live, and really does help with CG anime.

Netflix as the exclusive simulcast streamer for this? That seems like a first for them as a content provider. Not necessarily a bad thing though it makes it a bit troubling how many different subscriptions we need to watch all of the available anime.
I'd let my Netflix lapse several years ago most because they couldn't figure out a way to offer both sub versions along with all the dub anime titles they carry. This one sounds like they'll have to sub version at first but then switch to dub. |
