So judging by the art, the character designer seems to be... Makoto Uno, huh? Those faces and the little flush in the characters' cheeks look to be his doing. Don't think I've heard of him being involved in anything major since the Seikon no Qwaser anime.

That's nice…but they look nothing like Vania 600's design style, only in a very stripped-down, basic sense. It sort of reminds me of Madhouse's in-name-only job on Oh! Great's Tenjou Tenge. The idea sounds kind of neat, but hope it doesn't get too preachy, either.
