In any case, the show is now available for free members (of course, they'll have to wait until a week later, but still). The only reason I got the anime membership in the first place was so I could watch this show. I do support the industry, but IMO (and I know some will disagree with me) waiting a week is better then waiting 2 weeks or 3, or even a month....

For some reason, shows I watch on Funi's site have been having an irritating audio stutter lately. So I'm very glad FT2 will also be available on CR where I don't have that problem.

It hasn't been running for the past year. You might want to look up the definition of "forever". Also, CR had the original series. It had an unusual license in that each episode was only available for 30 days, and only to premium members, but they did have it, so they aren't starting with "season 1 million". |

Just watched the first episode.
Very impressed. Character designs are much better. The animation seems of much higher quality and the show actually seems to be produced in HD unlike the previous 'season'. I also like how they just jumped straight back in where they left off, rather than messing around with recap rubbish. |

good stuff apart the things i had issues with:
people tell me that the artwork is closer to the manga. frankly grey at 24:24 at the episode doesn't look like grey. gajeel looks kinda weird, i think the front hair hanging down gave a good look of the wild gajeel look. natsu's hair and happy lacks color. in fact overall the entire show cept the OP and ED lacks color and looks a bit dull on color. animation and everything else has improved. i just dislike the artwork on this one, old one was much better and looked more prominent. |
