I know, the Eiffel name change is BS when you consider that Capcom and Viz were able to get away with using Polnareff without any threats from Michel Polnareff's lawyers.

I completely forgot Polnareff was named after him. It's annoying, but I can deal with it. It's definitely one of the oddest changes though |

No. God no. I haven't kept up with the game news too much, so this is the first I've heard of this. NO. SIGH. Jean-Pierre Eiffel. How unbearably sad. Just awful. I mean, a video game and 16 volumes of manga featuring the name "Polnareff" displayed multiple times, both are STILL in circulation. Disgusting.

If they aren't even leaving Polnareff's name alone, then I can only imagine that literally everyone has a name change.
I'm kind of sad that despite Polnareff's name staying in virtually every single incarnation (Including the R1 OVA and Manga) that it's getting changed here |

I knew that something like this is going to happen but never expected Polnareff to be the "victim". Funny thing is that Wham, AC\DC and Cars from English version's promo-screens had their original names, just with different spelling.
