December 2005? *cringe*
Meh...oh well. Hopefully it will be worth the wait.
I'm patient. There are other series that will take longer than a year and half to finish being released here. *looks at Kenshin, InuYasha, X...*

True. But those other series are longer than 7 volumes. Viz usually releases their manga every other month (so far as I know) so I'm not sure why Saikano is being released every three months.

Saikano's site is very informative, though. Normally, Viz doesn't do a good job of giving out release dates on manga. They will let us know what month a manga will be released but not the actual date.

I have the 7 volume manga set and I wonder how much editing(droping pages and panels) they will do. As you might know books 6 and 7 are quite explicit and they were just barely passed the Japanese sensors. Hopefully they'll only just put them in shrink rap. Who knows.

considireing the fit the fans would throw not to mention what darkhourse and tokyopop have gotten away with in Berserk and Battle Royale I highly doubt they will edit it. and Yes I Have the jp manga so i know what your talking about spoiler[ Chise Shuya Sex scene] and it was pretty explicit.

In the anime they simply glossed over that part by saying they they were "together" for 2 or 3 days. Seeing some of the current anime released I was surprised that they did that.

I agree. It's painfully obvious what's going on, both during the event, and afterwards when Chise writes on the ground spoiler[Our first time.]

Buffalo: I'm guessing the fact that their other manga series are
longer, and more marketable to younger audiences, is the reason for the gap between Saikano volumes. Although it would be refreshing for once to see Editor's Choice titles doing as well as the other categories.

megumi: It probably won't be edited if it's being released under the Editor's Choice label.

Damn straight it was obvius what was going on in the anime just in the manga they show you exatcly what they were doing.

of course granted the way Tokyopop and Darkhourse are handling there mature manga I dont think we have to worry about Viz editing it. It most likey will be shrinkwrapped.
