I was going to bitch about why this horrendous-looking anime was getting a second season, but I see that the announcement is about the show being cour split. The only redeeming thing about the episode I watched was Akari Acura's great butt.

Best news I've heard all day! I was saddened when I found out it would only be 12 episodes... A lot of fanservice filled shows get 2 cours and the more serious shows only get 1. So I'm glad to hear that we're getting more. It's one of my favorites that is currently airing! Plus I feel like high fantasy works better when you have more episodes to develop it...
At the rate it's going though, they might make it through all of the novels! I believe they are on 4 right now... But they cut a lot of material that could be used in other episodes later on. They might also go for an original ending like they did with Scrapped Princess, 11 years ago! As long as it is strong like Scrapped Princess' then I will be a happy man! |

HELL YES BEST NEWS I HAVE heard since in a while,
Chaika is defiantly one of my favourites for this season. i was worried when it was only 12 p long but im glad it will be split cour. Hmm somebody posted it might be original ending but i think the main LN is nearly finished as well although im not sure. either way i just hope if the story will end it will end good. Oh this put a smile on what seemed like a miserable day

The show's a pretty fun fantasy-adventure series, which we don't get very much of these days. It's got a somewhat interesting story driving its plot, some neat fantasy elements, and a brother-sister duo who don't want to f*ck each other.
Glad to see it get another season, though it sucks that Japanese viewers are basically ignoring it. |

Well, they have yet to go down that road or even hint they may be doing so. And from what I understand, the light novels's don't really do so either. |

The author said two cours split over two seasons.
I think it totally implies it... I'm glad to hear that this is going to get two cours. It seems like it has a bit more going on than one cour could handle. I am really enjoying it. |

She attacks him when he gets too close to another girl, other than that there really hasn't been any other implications. Though, I don't deny they could easily go down that route if they wanted. |

I don't think they'll go down that route. But to suggest there isn't a certain spoiler[undertone of desire there (on her part)] is somewhat misleading. Someone could read your original comment and think, "oh how refreshing! A brother sister who feel completely platonic about each other!" spoiler[That's not quite the case.]
