Yep the tax hikes in Japan did it's job among other consoles.

Another down week (last week was even Golden Week), especially for home console games.

Yeah I read about that, that's unfortunate. How can this get any worse for Japan and the gaming industry in that country??? Confused

Guess people spent their money before the tax hike; now not even Golden Week could get them to spend.
