Did this happen for the entire episode? I was under the impression that Sentai almost never does recalls for anything from artifacts/mistimed subs to missing English lines to just plain getting the main character's name wrong, and has never replied to e-mail from past experience, but I'm glad they'll at least fix something like this or Kids on the Slope.

Perhaps David Williams isn't embellishing when he talks about how Sentai Filmworks is just a rag-tag group comprised of a handful of overworked anime fans. To hear him tell it, Sentai is about at the level of Media Blasters of yesteryear when they opened their panel with "We're a company of X guys X-1 of us are here at this panel."

Was this an error on Sentai's end?

I keep bringing this up on topics like this, but:
Aren't BDs supposed to be . . . "update-able"? I thought BDs had some kind of capability that allowed them to have updates (such as new subtitle tracks, or, in this case, revised subtitle tracks) downloaded and patched on the disc. Wouldn't this be a more suitable option, or was what I read just bullshit (more likely than not; with my luck)?

That's odd, they've always responded to my e-mails. The quickest response I ever got was actually less than thirty minutes, kinda scary.

Uh, no. There are ways for you to download new content (BD-Live) but update content that exists in the standard disc itself, I do not think that is possible. The new content is stored in the bluray player's local storage (which is typically tiny). The discs themselves are read-only.

Read the title, thought for a second they were offering to replace Amnesia with something that wasn't terrible.

I support and want Sentai to do well, but mistakes like these are unforgivable. The only positive of this is that owners will not have to return the disc.

Perhaps? I think its a given since David keeps saying, "we are a small company." At every panel I see with him. That does not sound like emballishment, it sounds more like bringing clean honesty that not only Sentai cannot work all the magic it has done back in its ADV days. But that the audience will notice some mistakes from this new but growing company.

According to Illich before the whole controversy thats happening now. They have expaned the use of their studios with additional booths. Plus with hiring new staff.

Well it makes sense that they are offering this, so I don't see whats been unforgivable with them as of late. Given that these copies where shipped early from Rightstuff. Sentai has more work room on making new discs. But I don't see this stuff hapening with older titles since how far and wide they are.

I'm not giving an excuse to not try though. But I want them to try a service like that in the future.

while i'm not blown away by it, probably because it's Amnesia, I do agree it is one of their better dubs
