Figures this news would appear right after I spent a long time trying to convince a friend that not all anime/related material is creepy garbage.

Why would you ever try to do that? Of course there's always going to be heavy fanservice stuff produced, there have been since the OVA came around. Does it somehow sully or taint your idea of some pristine anime/manga world, or that everything should only be as you desire it? So if it's something you consider creepy or bad, ignore it. This manga town IS big enough for both of us.

Besides, if your friend believes that one or even several examples means the whole medium is only that one thing, they're an idiot.

I can imagine a parent thinking that manga is porn (understandable if they saw boundary-pushing fan service heavy series like Qwaser or To-Love Ru Darkness) if they saw a title like "No Pants, No Problem".

And yet, you'd be surprised how much more stubborn people can be in regards to foreign cartoons.

@Others: Theres no need to take my comment so seriously, it was a joke. Although it doesn't mean either of these titles sound any less sleazy to me.

Great. Don't read them. Rolling Eyes

Love how people on here have such a problem with the idea that manga (and Anime) appeals to multiple kinds of tastes, not just their own.

Hey if people enjoy it, let them read it. All I saw was vol 7 of the Finder series which is long overdue, and it makes me very happy to see it.

Yet when it comes to appealing to foreign tastes, they develop a problem with it. Laughing

"Going commando" as the plot point of a romantic comedy: and here I thought I'd seen everything! Laughing
