I really hope this gets picked up here since Origin's manga has been relatively popular...come on, anybody...

Nice to see Gundam's origin story, it looks very promising. Smile

I'm certain they revealed most of this already not long ago.

Looking forward to it, though. Especially the parts about Casval and Artesia with their parents and the lost Zabi brother.

If this gets picked up for dubbing, I hope they use Ocean Studios so the cast will be consistent with the original series' dub.

I'm down with them doing more ova stuff in the same way as Unicorn, but did anyone else see CG during that Zaku sequence? I really hope that was me not having good vision or else those action sequences are going to look off.

That's definitely CGI. I suppose we ought to get used to it, seeing the number of mech show in recent years utilizing it for all their machines.

How is it going to take four whole movies to do this prequel thing?

Wow, how underwhelming.

And the CGI looks terrible and sticks out like a sore thumb.

Sunrise is not doing the whole prequel thing. These 4 OVAs will concentrate on Char's/Sayla's flashback. That's it. Those wishing for a remake of the entire Gundam Origin manga will have to look elsewhere (or jump off a cliff in desperation) Laughing

Looks good to me. Char's secret origin was quite long in the manga, but more interesting the re-telling the WB story...

unfortunately that wont be the case. unless bandai ent decides on making a comeback.

kinda tragic since there haven't been any new US licenses of any gundam series since bandai went six feet under. if they were still around, gundam age as well as build fighters would have been released in the US already.

Dear japan thank you. The manga is a genuine improvement of the original classic and at least a partial adaptation will warm my hear. Gundam is back.
