Well, glad to see Senran Kagura is doing well enough to get this localized, especially since I wasn't expecting this one to get localized this soon... Although I'm sure that Shinovi Versus Preorders topping the sales charts (on Amazon, at least) isn't hurting much.
Now here's to hoping SK2 will get an announcement sometime before/shortly after the Japanese release...

Wasn't the game a digital-only title in Japan? So I'm not sure how it could be "shipped".

Shinovi versus is only having ages removed. Same with this one probably. Xseed is usually really good about not removing content.

*shrug* Another game for legions of fans to argue that people "just don't get it" while everyone else squints and frowns and rolls their eyes.
Provided, the sheer ridiculousness behind this game would interest me in a morbid way... if I bothered with a Vita.

I don't see why they couldn't, especially if they're going to trouble of removing/changing the ages. The games are already rated MA (the same as DOA, which was way more graphic in terms of blood, gore and nudity). Besides, the girls in the game don't have anything that most seventeen year olds haven't seen by now anyway. It's a niche series anyway, so why not give the fans what they want? Can't be any worse than the H-games J-List and other translation companies offer, which actually feature sex. In the case of Senran Kagura, it's just basic fan-service. Nothing that an anime veteran wouldn't be used to.
