I wouldn't get your hopes up. I wish I could be excited about this, but given Yugioh's track record in the US, I think I'll just stick to the original version. It's a shame too, ARC-V's been really good so far.

I am curious about exactly where Arc-V, and the rest of ZEXAL, for that matter, is going to air. Vortexx is going away at the end of September, and the only real place I could see it go would be any of the Nickelodeon networks. Hopefully not Nicktoons, as I don't get that channel as part of my family's cable subscription.

How's your family's internet subscription?

I also think that they should put the remainder of Zexal on YouTube (less commercials than Hulu from what I've gathered). While they will finish the 5Ds and Zexal subs, please finish the 5Ds dub. What I wish they could do it uncut or at least a Toonami/AS version (the Toonami/AS anime have been able to have less severe cuts as a 4kids show).

Why would you put Yugioh on a Adult swim Toonami?

I'm guessing they're just dropping the last arc for Zexal like they did with GX and 5D's.

Same reason Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece are on Toonami. It's the ony way to watch kids anime uncut in the states Rolling Eyes It's dub on Nicktoons and Vortex was totally hacked up beyond belief.

Why do you think that Adult swim would want Yugioh?

Makes more sense than when they aired PeeWee's Playhouse and a bunch of preschool crap lol. At least kids anime has violence and sexy stuff in it

Youtube/Hulu might be fine for Bushiroad, but Konami's used to having Yu-Gi-Oh! being a big thing and I'm not sure those venues are there yet for that to happen. Besides, Bushiroad's stuff is primarily dubbed for broadcast in South East Asia first.

The preschool shows airing was a joke.

The new protagonist's hairdo isn't quite as terrible as the spiky pink abomination the guy from Zexal sported, but it still looks pretty lame. When will these spin-off duelists stop trying to compete with Yugi's hair? It was the perfect blend of ridiculous; a crowning achievement of "so nonsensical it works." None can replicate its awesome campiness.

Yeah, anime doesn't belong on the MAIN Nick network (e.g. Speed Racer X and Digimon Fusion didn't last long on there). You're right about Nicktoons, though; I believe they'd rather not air another YGO series after delaying classic Yu-Gi-Oh! from January-March 2013, and finally removing it from their schedule this March; their treatment of ZEXAL is just as bad. I don't think Cartoon Network would air Arc-V either after the 5D's debacle, so Arc-V and the rest of ZEXAL COULD end up online-only.

Im curious if this means yet another unfinished dub for Zexal. How far along is Zexal in the US?

I hope they can at least give the new main a better voice than Yuma had. The other seasons had pretty good casting for their main cast if nothing else, but I couln't stand this kid - especially knowing he could have been voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch.

Actually, Yuma's US voice actor is Eli Jay.
